Structure, Functions and Responsibilities

Teatru Manoel is a Public Cultural Organisation that falls within the remit of the Ministry for National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government. Its functions are vested by the Minister, upon a Board of Management that is composed of a chairman and five members.

Teatru Manoel is committed to the presentation of world-class artistic productions; to the creation of new audiences for musical and dramatic genres; and to provide a principal platform for local and international artists.

Cognisant of the fact that this Theatre is a unique historical venue, the management of Teatru Manoel strives to preserve and enhance its architectural stature, while promoting it as a venue of artistic excellence.
