Terms and Conditions of Use (TCU)

Welcome to the Teatru Manoel (hereinafter referred to as the entity) site (the “Site”). Please read these terms of Use carefully before using the Site. By using and accessing this site you are signifying your agreement with the terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, please leave the site immediately.

Teatru Manoel operates and controls this site and therefore reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, alter or otherwise update these Terms of Use at any time and, by your continued use of the Site, you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations or updates.

Mailing Lists

By registering as a web user, you are agreeing to be sent information on activities organised and ongoing at Teatru Manoel.

Should you decide to opt out of receiving any or all the above-mentioned type of information please inform us.

Purchasing of Online Tickets

The entity uses the MITA Payment Gateway. All personal details are encrypted, and no credit card details are stored by Teatru Manoel. While the entity has endeavoured to make payment as secure as possible the user understands that some risks may still exist and that any loss of personal data cannot result in liability of the entity.

Usernames and passwords

Please note that you are responsible for the username and password that you use on the site. You should always keep them confidential and should change them periodically. Should you believe that anyone else has gained access to your username and password you should change it immediately.

Refunds

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. You are responsible for the correct details that you submit including correct show and date. The entities cannot be held responsible for any customer errors. If the transaction is not completed, then no monies will be taken out of your account.

Website Availability

Online Booking is a service offered by Teatru Manoel. The entity reserves the right to discontinue or limit its use.

Ticket availability

The sale of online tickets is subject to availability.

Price of the ticket

The price of the ticket will be clearly displayed on the screen prior to the transaction. Such price is inclusive of Value Added Tax where applicable. This price of entrance to the venues may change at any time at the sole discretion of the management.

Discounts and Promotions

Please note that not all discounts and promotions may be available online. These will however be available at our booking office desks. Please contact our booking office for further information and for promotions which may be running from time to time.

Liability

Occasionally due to unforeseeable circumstances a particular show may be cancelled or delayed. Teatru Manoel cannot be held responsible for any amount other than the actual cost of the purchased tickets should the entity be the producers. Teatru Manoel cannot be held responsible for third party productions. The name of the producer is clearly identified in the events list.

Resale

By purchasing tickets online, you warrant that the tickets are for your personal enjoyment only and are not for resale.

Data Protection Policy

Teatru Manoel operates according to the Data Protection Legislation. We only collect information that has been given to us by the client. Credit Card Details are never collected by the entity or any of its subsidiary companies. We will never pass on any of your details to any third parties without your concession. The information will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act to process your online request as well as for administrative and historical purposes.

The purchase of tickets represents the acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

  1. Tickets are to be checked before leaving the booking office.
  2. Late comers will be admitted to the Auditorium after the first break.
  3. No bottles, glasses, drinks, food etc. are allowed in the Auditorium and any other restricted areas.
  4. Mobile phones and any other electronic devices are to be switched off in the Auditorium.
  5. The taking of photographs, sound and video recordings during the performance is not permitted.
  6. Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted except for children and family shows.
  7. Children, even when accompanied by their parents, will be required to occupy a seat.
  8. In line with the Data Protection Act, purchase of this ticket signifies acceptance that as a member of the audience the holder may be filmed and/or recorded for eventual broadcast. Furthermore, personal data, if provided may be used in mailing lists for theatre events exclusively.
  9. The Management reserves the right to vary or omit any part of the programme without previous notice.
  10. Purchased tickets are not refundable.
  11. Children are the sole responsibility of the parents or guardians, with whom they attend the performance with. The children need to be always accompanied by an adult, whilst attending performances.
  12. When attending a performance with their school, children are the sole responsibility of their teachers or guardians.
  13. Children who are left alone, at any point before, during, or after the performance has taken place are not the responsibility of the theatre and its personnel. Should a child be left alone, theatre personnel will act as it sees fit. This may include informing the relevant authorities.
  14. The theatre is not responsible for any injuries that occur on the premises. If a minor is injured on the site, that is the responsibility of the parents/guardians/teachers.
